It will take a while to read, but if you have already taken all of the preliminary steps in book marketing, then this is a great comprehensive next step for any serious author. After publishing over 30 self-published titles, I have a good feel for how valuable this type of book can be. This is an enormous book (700+ pages) that will give you virtually everything that you could possibly need to sell more books. If you implement half of the things in this book, you will become much more successful. I liked the wealth of information contained in this book, it's the best one I've found. I originally borrowed this book from the library. It was several years out of date. Most books generalize, this one gets into the nitty gritty and describes everything. For someone who doesn't know how to market or advertise I find it very helpful.
This is a brilliant reference for any aspiring book writer; to understand how the system works and therefore planning your best selling book accordingly. To fully understand the marketing strategies described, get hold of some best sellers, fiction and non-fiction, and try to connect the content of this book with the best sellers; it is quite an eye opener how to write, publish and promote your best seller.P
If you can't sell your book with all this marketing information then forget it.Every possible way to market a book is here. I think using book stores is too labor intensive and time is better spent elsewhere
